Oh, how often I say that!

It’s been a long time since I even visited my website, let alone posted on it. 2024 and 2025 have been a blur of travelling, working, painting and struggling to pluck up the courage to finally take “the leap”. But I’m doing it! I finally started doing “The Thing”.

Towards the end of 2024, I vowed to myself that 2025 would be the year I start taking big, noticeable steps in the direction of my dreams. I began applying for opportunities, and getting them! Such big, exciting opportunities!

In March I became a member of Collective25, a group of 10 local artists based at the Collective Art Gallery in St Albans. Between us we have, so far, held 2 group shows, and my debut solo exhibition opens in just a couple of days! I’m also planning some workshops and an art market, which I will be holding/selling at, through the Collective. I also have a second solo exhibition coming up at the end of October at the Trestle Arts Space, where I will be showing works created at, and inspired by, a month long artists’ residency I recently attended in Iceland! More on that very soon!

Alongside all of this, I’ve been getting the occasional commission, selling bits and bobs online and slowly building my audience and network over on social media. I’m a long way off hitting my goals, but I’m definitely closer to them than I was this time last year, and I can really feel the momentum building up. It’s all very exciting, and I want to bring you along for the ride. As long as I remember to post consistently!
