a 35mm film diary

I finally got my first roll of film back. It took longer than it should have because of some rookie errors on my part, that I won’t go into. But the photos are here and I’m so, so happy with them.

There’s such joy and excitement in the process of taking 35mm film photos. Not knowing what the photos will look like until they’re developed and returned to you. The little surprises you get when you see them – interesting and unexpected light patterns, strange exposure, tiny fleeting moments.
